Working with TECHealth
Burnout. Throughput pressure. The moral injury that comes from practicing medicine through layers of red tape. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. TECHealth was founded by emergency physicians who experienced those same frustrations—and built something different.
Everything we do begins with one simple idea: Do Something Good. That means removing unnecessary barriers so physicians and APPs can focus on what matters most—the patient in front of them. We believe clinicians do their best work when they have the freedom to think critically, be fully present, and practice medicine in a way that reflects why they chose this profession.
The most meaningful moments in emergency medicine have never changed. They’re found in listening well, making thoughtful decisions, and doing more for a patient than they expected when it matters most. Here, going the extra mile is encouraged—not punished. That’s how We Make Bad Days Better.
If that’s the kind of emergency medicine you want to practice, TECHealth was built for you.
What Kind of ER Professionals Are We Looking For?
Where You’ll Practice
TECHealth operates in two distinct emergency care settings, both built around the same principle: removing barriers so clinicians can focus on practicing great medicine.
Freestanding Emergency Rooms
Low-volume, fully integrated sites where we control the clinical and operational environment. These settings offer a more measured pace, streamlined processes, and a strong focus on quality of life.
Hospital Emergency Departments
Traditional ER settings where TECHealth provides physician and APP staffing. These environments offer a broader range of acuity, consistent team support, and a culture that prioritizes sound clinical decision-making over arbitrary metrics.
Why Work With Us
Practice Environment

Across both of our care models, we’ve built our systems to reduce the friction that gets in the way of taking care of patients—less red tape, fewer unnecessary hurdles, and an environment that supports clinical judgment instead of working against it.
Scheduling and Flexibility

Emergency medicine is a 24/7/365 practice. Nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the job—and building a schedule that works for everyone is always a shared effort.
At TECHealth, our focus is on fairness, transparency, and predictability. We work collaboratively to distribute shifts in a way that balances the load across the team, so no one is consistently carrying more than their share.
Support that Reduces Friction

Administrative work has steadily taken time away from patient care. We’ve made a deliberate effort to reverse that.
NightRider: Night Shift Support

Night shifts are one of the hardest parts of emergency medicine—and one of the biggest drivers of burnout over time.
Our NightRider program is designed to make them more sustainable. In many of our sites, an experienced APP can cover a portion of the night shift, allowing physicians protected time to rest while maintaining continuity of care.
Career Sustainability & Longevity

Emergency medicine is a demanding specialty—and for many clinicians, the challenge isn’t just getting through a shift, it’s sustaining a career over time.
At TECHealth, we think about the long game. The way we structure our environments, schedules, and support systems is designed to reduce the cumulative strain that leads to burnout.
Culture & Values

At TECHealth, our culture isn’t separate from how we practice—it’s what drives it.
Our mission to Make Bad Days Better and our Core Values—Do Something Good, Accountability, Empathy, and Zeal—shape the decisions behind everything we’ve built, from how we structure shifts to how we support clinicians and care for patients. We believe that when clinicians are supported, trusted, and able to practice medicine the right way, better patient care follows.
